27th March 2023
TDF is delighted to announce a new partnership with Zagame Autosport as the Official Distributor for the TDF/One in Australia.
Zagame’s first TDF/One, already sold to an Australian customer, will be on display at the Melbourne Grand Prix for the event’s entirety, having been officially presented during an exclusive unveiling today at the Zagame Automotive Group’s headquarters in Victoria, Australia.
Today’s presentation is the first step in an exciting new relationship between TDF & Zagame Autosport. The companies will work together to deliver an unrivalled service for clients searching for the ultimate on-track driving thrill with the world’s most exciting race car ownership proposition, the TDF/One.
The TDF/One is exclusively developed and built in the UK by TDF. It offers owners an exhilarating experience previously known only to Grand Prix drivers. Drawing on years of engineering expertise from running historic Formula1 cars for private clients around the world, the TDF team has created a completely new proposition, which goes way beyond the limits of any hypercar.
A unique concept, it takes a raced-in-period, modern-era Formula1 chassis and combines it with a devastatingly powerful but far more robust power unit to create the ultimate high-performance vehicle. The result is a completely new car that offers a safe but authentic drive, without the expense and resources typically associated with privately run historic Formula1 cars.
Each TDF/One owner will be able to work with TDF and Zagame Autosport’s on-site experts to choose from a plethora of bespoke options, enabling them to specify a car that is completely unique to their tastes: from livery and racewear through to driver training and exclusive events – the car and the experience can be tailored to the owner’s vision.
Following its display during Grand Prix week at Melbourne, the first Australian TDF/One will be shaken down at The Bend circuit near Adelaide, before delivery to its new owner.
James Densley, TDF’s Chief Technical Director says: “I’m delighted to announce this fantastic new partnership with Zagame Autosport. Following our success in the American market as well as in Europe, we’re so excited to bring the TDF/One to Australia and work with one of the premier automotive groups in the country. And what better week to unveil the TDF/One ‘down under’ than during Grand Prix week!”
Rod Wilson, General Manager at Zagame Autosport, says: “This is an exciting moment for Zagame Autosport as we expand our portfolio with the addition of the TDF/One. Zagame Autosport prides itself on offering clients almost limitless possibilities on track, but with the TDF/One those limits have been well and truly broken! It’s a spectacular car and we can’t wait to see our first chassis take to the track with its new owner.”
