TDF/Works provides authentic restoration, maintenance and race preparation for your historic Formula 1®, Le Mans Prototype (LMP) or Grand Touring (GT) car. We use the latest technology to maintain, prepare and restore some of the rarest and most iconic racing cars, dating from the 1950s to modern-day equivalents. We’re trusted by our clients to maintain machines raced by legendary drivers such as: Michael Schumacher, Jenson Button, Jacques Villeneuve and Fernando Alonso, plus many others.

Our extensive in-house capabilities allow us to undertake everything from pre-purchase inspection, to race preparation, to the most extensive of restorations, returning these amazing cars back to their former glory. TDF/Works projects can also benefit from the latest engineering solutions behind the TDF/One. This includes simplifying electronics, re-engineering fragile components for reliability, and installing driver aids to increase safety.

PROCESS

Each TDF/Works project involves a detailed, consultative process. We work closely with you to understand your ambition, aspiration and budget.

The brief taken defines every aspect of the build: from replication of period correct liveries, to the level of originality and authenticity you want for each part of the car. We create bespoke builds as unique as the cars themselves. 

Specialist processes for chassis inspection and 3D scanning allow us to ensure the car is safe for operation, whilst also creating a blueprint to re-manufacture replacement parts in future.

Upon completion of any project, TDF/Works follows a rigorous pre-delivery checklist. This includes a comprehensive shakedown to ensure you are safe and feel confident and in control when behind the wheel of your historic racing masterpiece.
